Thanks Julie :)
The swans one (Yes they are swans .. younger and brown) was a lucky shot . Right place right time when they decided to join the other swans in feeding , as a passer by was feeding the swans pigeons and gulls :)
Justr wish i could go further afield .. but there is still plenty to snap in Gravesend :)

Thanks :)
Well i am waiting for my "Thinsulate " Beanie hat and cropped finger gloves :) Hopefully here tomorrow :) Then if i can walk ..there will be no stopping me :D.
Went out the other day and couldn't move my hands to operate the buttons because of the cold . Biggest problem was moving the large knuckle on my thumbs which causes a little bit of an issue .

Hi Rich

The cropped finger gloves are very good, but the tips of your fingers still get very cold in this weather, so I have taken to wearing another pair of woolley gloves over the top and it works beautifully really warm hands.

Hi Rich,

Lovely photo's, my favourite is the Bridge and water scene. I love pictures with water in them. Have you tried the gel packs which you break the metal bit inside and it heats up. Works really well, I used to get them for my eldest daughter when she was at school. They go hard and you just heat them and they are again ready for use.

Take care Lorna Smile

Oh Rich what beautiful shots and such a talent with a camera. I used to do a lot of photography but sadly I find the buttons too difficult, small and fiddly for arthritic hands. By the time I've got the camera set up ... I've missed the ruddy shot!!

Do keep posting, it's lovely to see your work.

pity Autumn Watch is finished ... think the Swans could have been a good contender on their website,

well done for braving the cold.

Thanks Suzanne :)
Well taking them and improving them on my computer keeps me from going mad :)

They are clear and crisp cos they were taken 5 am one Sunday morning when i woke up in pain .. and were taken on a long exposure so it gave the sensor time to soak up the detail :) and i live a very short walk to town :)

Wish i had got into it years ago really .. only now i am taking an interest in different things as needs must :)

Rich :)
